Terms of Use for QAwork.com (QAwork)
The following Terms of Use govern your use of QAwork.com, also referred to as QAwork. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. QAwork is currently in beta testing, which means functionality may not be fully stable, and users may encounter bugs or unexpected behavior. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.
1. Beta Testing Disclaimer
QAwork is in beta testing, meaning any user (registered or not) may encounter bugs or issues where features do not function as expected.
2. User Conduct
Registered users are prohibited from publishing offensive, misleading, or harmful content about anyone in any form, including posts, photos, or other media. Such content will be removed, and the user responsible may face permanent banning or account deletion.
3. Administration Rights
- The QAwork administration reserves the right to edit or delete any registered user profile without prior notice or permission.
- The administration can also edit or delete any content (posts, images, or profile-related material) without prior notice or permission.
4. Ownership of Content
Registered users must only publish content they own, such as original images and text. Publishing copyrighted material or content that does not belong to the user is strictly forbidden.
5. Copyright and Offensive Content Reporting
Anyone can report content for copyright infringement or offensive material by using the report feature or emailing the administration at [email protected].
6. Visibility of User Profiles
QAwork does not have private registered profiles. Users should be aware that their information is visible to others. Furthermore, since QAwork is in beta testing (as stated in Section 1), users acknowledge the potential for privacy issues or bugs and agree to use QAwork at their own risk, without holding the administration liable. That means user profiles, activity feeds, and group content are considered public, and anyone can see them.
7. Permissible Content
Content published on QAwork must pertain solely to QA/Testing. Any form of content that is offensive or irrelevant to the platform’s purpose is strictly prohibited.
8. Free Usage
Currently, QAwork is free to use. However, the administration reserves the right to introduce charges or display advertisements in the future.
9. Changes to Terms of Use
The QAwork administration may modify these Terms of Use or the platform’s Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice.
10. Liability
QAwork is not responsible for any privacy claims, data loss, or other damages arising from the use of the platform. Users accept full responsibility for their use of QAwork.
11. Groups & Forums
- Forums or group discussions must remain relevant to QA/Testing and adhere to the same standards for content ownership and conduct.
- Administrators have the authority to manage groups (including deleting any group), edit user-submitted content, and enforce community rules as outlined in this document.
12. Main target of QAwork project
The main goal of QAwork is to create a social platform where individuals in the QA field can share their experiences with others in the QA community and connect employers with QA engineers.
At this moment, as mentioned in the first paragraph, QAwork is still in beta testing. It still has bugs, and not everything is working as expected. However, it is approximately ready for an essential launch. Let’s work together to build the largest QA community!
