Terms of Use

Using the workspace

The workspace helps teams maintain scenarios and test cases, run tests and record results and bugs. You are responsible for the material you add, the people you invite and your testing and release decisions. Use the service lawfully and only for testing you are authorised to perform.

The public demo is read-only and uses sample data. Private access is subject to approval. Availability, support and any commercial arrangements should be agreed separately; this website does not currently take payments or automatically enrol users in a paid subscription.

Use test data where possible. Do not upload passwords, API keys, payment-card details or real customer data unless an appropriate secure arrangement has been agreed.

Invitations, projects and team roles

There is no open registration. Both Google and password access require approval of the email address by Wulf. A project Owner may request access for a new participant and select their role, but cannot bypass that approval. Activation invitations are private, email-bound, single-use links valid for seven days. Do not share them with anyone other than the intended participant.

Roles apply separately to each project. Other participants in the same project can see its tests, findings and relevant testing progress. Project Owners must assign appropriate access and remove it when no longer needed. Wulf retains administrator access for service operation, support and agreed work, including in self-managed projects. Keep credentials private and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

Timers, automation and external bugs

Recorded time represents active testing time and excludes pauses. A running timer can continue after the browser closes, so pause it when stopping work. Remaining work and budget figures are estimates based on entered data, not billing statements or delivery guarantees unless separately agreed.

Automation labels and references record information about your tests. The workspace does not execute uploaded automation code. The optional AI assistant requires project enablement and provider configuration. AI requests can send the relevant input and project context to the configured provider; agree permitted data before use and review generated content.

A bug may be stored in QAwork or linked to an external tracker such as Jira. External links open a separate service with its own permissions and terms. A link does not automatically synchronise issues or statuses, grant tracker access or authorise disclosure of private information.

Public examples and permitted use

The public demo is read-only and uses sample data. Screenshots, website animations, example code and the external-tracker example page are illustrations, not actual client reports or promises about a project. Do not enter confidential information into a public example. Access to the demo does not approve a private account.

Use the service lawfully and only for authorised testing. Do not attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious files, disrupt the service, misuse another person's data or share accounts. Project access may be restricted where necessary to address security incidents or misuse, or as agreed when services end. This does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your material, exports and ending access

You retain rights in material you provide. You authorise its storage and use only as needed for the workspace and agreed services. Any additional confidentiality obligations are settled in the applicable agreement. Do not redistribute another participant's confidential information without authority.

Export available reports before agreed access ends. The current report export is not a complete backup of every attachment or workspace record. Archiving a project, test or bug is not permanent deletion; records can remain stored. Ask Wulf to arrange removal, an appropriate data handover or a retention period. Workspace access is not a promise of indefinite free storage or uninterrupted availability.

Changes, responsibility and contact

I take reasonable care in providing the agreed services, but the site, hosting and third-party tools may be unavailable at times. No additional service level or exclusion of liability is implied beyond what is lawfully agreed. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory rights or responsibilities under applicable law.

Updates apply prospectively and do not silently rewrite an existing project agreement or a previously recorded acceptance. Material changes to an agreed service should be discussed before they take effect. For access, service or terms questions, email [email protected]. Read the Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement.
